Again, I’ll ask, why not?! The next categories of resorts are the Preferred and Premier Resorts. I think all of the resorts on property are cute, unique & lovely however these resorts are stunning.
Preferred
The beautiful Loews Sapphire Falls is the resort in the preferred category. I had the opportunity to stay here a recently and it was indeed lovely. The scents as you walk into the lobby greet you and you instantly feel “it”. The rooms are well…roomy & comfortable. There is a tavern as well as a full service restaurant onsite.
Premier
The Premier resorts onsite include Loews Royal Pacific Resort, Hard Rock Universal Orlando & Loews Portofino Bay Hotel. You can expect these resorts to have multiple dining options (advance reservations are suggested at some). I have also experienced a stay at one of these resorts & it was simply lovely-the rooms, the view, the service, etc., all great! One of the perks to staying at these resorts is the free Universal Express Unlimited! (I don’t know if I can ever go back to not having an Express Pass again!) The Express pass allows you to skip the regular lines at most of the popular attractions in Universal Studios Florida and Universal’s Islands of Adventure. It is a value of $129.99 or more per person per day! (Requires theme park admission. *not valid at Volcano Bay)
The transportation options at these resorts are shuttle buses, water taxi’s and the walking paths. The walking paths are beautiful and the signage is easy to follow. The water taxi’s are lovely and run consistently as do the buses. Any one of these options make it so easy to experience the parks and Universal Orlando’s City Walk.
But wait, there are even more perks to staying “on resort”! All onsite guests can “breeze into one of Universal’s parks one hour before other guests”! (See park hours for details & schedule applying to your stay.) Resort guests enjoy resort-wide charging privileges with your room key and complimentary merchandise delivery!
